At IBC 2024, ELEMENTS is set to introduce a range of advanced technologies and workflow enhancements.
The company’s presentation will include the newly developed ELEMENTS BLINK, a BeeGFS native client for Windows and macOS, along with an upgraded NVMe-based CUBE, an expansion of the Storage Qualification Program with Qumulo, an optimized Cloud Platform, and significant updates to the Media Library.
Introducing ELEMENTS BLINK
ELEMENTS BLINK is a new BeeGFS native client for Mac and Windows, offering block-level storage access over Ethernet. This solution allows users to achieve high performance without the need for expensive Fibre Channel infrastructure. ELEMENTS BLINK enhances storage and network performance while reducing the CPU load commonly associated with NAS protocols. A live demo of this new development will be available at the ELEMENTS stand.
Enhanced CUBE with NVMe
The CUBE has received a significant upgrade with the integration of NVMe technology. This enhancement doubles the internal performance and capacity of the previous SSD-based model, delivering up to 10GB/s of internal performance and 200TB of usable capacity.

The integration of Qumulo into the ELEMENTS platform offers users features such as Avid Bin Locking, the ELEMENTS Media Library, storage and permission management tools, and the Automation Engine.
Cloud Platform Updates
ELEMENTS will showcase updates to its Cloud Platform, including the integration of the new HTTP3 standard. This update improves upload performance, particularly for camera-to-cloud workflows, and enhances flexibility for creative teams.
