Radio EP FM, part of Grupo EP—one of the leading media groups in the interior of São Paulo—operates in Araraquara, São Carlos, and Campinas.
The station was created to support local communities, encourage regional development, and deliver reliable and high-quality programming.
Programming and Audience Engagement
The station combines music, news, culture, and entertainment in a format designed to stay close to its listeners. Its presence is supported by a broader multimedia structure that includes television, major digital platforms, and strong online distribution.
In Campinas, where EP FM operates on 84.9 FM, the station has a particularly significant regional impact, attracting audiences interested in music-focused content and regional information.
EP FM promotes interaction through social media, streaming, its mobile app, and smart devices. The station also offers multiple commercial formats—including flashes, testimonials, and in-person activations—allowing brands to engage directly with local audiences.
Studio Modernization in Campinas
As part of a modernization initiative, EP FM Campinas has begun a full upgrade of its main broadcast studio. For this project, the technical team selected AEQ’s digital technology, placing the AEQ CAPITOL IP 12 console at the center of the system.
AEQ CAPITOL IP 12 Features
The AEQ CAPITOL IP 12 is a fixed-configuration digital audio console with 12 faders. It is built to deliver reliability, versatility, and efficient workflows. The console includes an integrated 16-input and 16-output IP module, enabling effective source and destination management within the studio environment.
Its input options include 4 mic/line, 12 analog, 4 AES/EBU stereo digital, and 2 USB stereo digital channels. It also supports 2 optional telephone lines and multichannel digital links through 16 AoIP channels or 64 MADI channels via fiber. These capabilities make it suitable for studios that need flexibility and solid audio processing.

Position in the Broadcast Market
The CAPITOL IP series is widely used by regional broadcasters due to its balance of advanced IP technology and operational simplicity. Its design supports expanded connectivity, integration with digital systems, and stable performance in demanding production environments. This makes the console a practical solution for stations looking to update their infrastructure without added complexity.
Commitment to Technical Quality
The renovation confirms Radio EP FM Campinas’ commitment to technical quality and operational reliability. By adopting AEQ technology, the station enhances studio performance and supports Grupo EP’s broader growth strategy in the region, ensuring consistent audio quality and maintaining its position in the radio market.
