Evertz, a leading technology provider, is set to present its innovative solutions for broadcast facilities, OB trucks, venues, and stadiums at IBC 2023 in RAI Amsterdam from Sept. 15-18.

These solutions are designed to harness the power of 4K and 8K UHD technology, irrespective of the signal type in use.

Globally recognized with over 600 installations, Evertz’s Software Defined Video Networking (SDVN) solution is a game-changer. It provides a comprehensive, format-agnostic approach to transition to IP, both on-site and in the public cloud. This advancement is pivotal in the industry’s shift to an all-IP infrastructure, utilizing standards like SMPTE ST 2110 and NMOS.

Central to SDVN is the MAGNUM-OS, a platform tailored for IP-based facilities. It streamlines workflows, optimizes operational costs, and enhances efficiency. The unique architecture of MAGNUM-OS empowers broadcasters to interconnect facilities, resources, and devices, whether within a city, nationally, or globally. Furthermore, it supports hybrid workflows, integrating devices or resources either on-site or in various cloud environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

“The MAGNUM-OS architecture allows broadcasters to connect facilities, resources and devices together within a city, country or globally.”

For enhanced monitoring and analytics, Evertz introduces the MAGNUM-NMS and MAGNUM-ANALYTICS modules. These integrate seamlessly with Evertz’s monitoring and data analytics technologies.

Evertz will also spotlight its EXE 3.0 and NATX-32/64-100G switch fabrics at IBC 2023. These are designed to provide a versatile infrastructure for various video formats, from SD to Ultra HD (4K and 8K).

Additionally, the company will feature its ev670-X30-HW-2 virtualized media processing platform, which supports diverse formats like 12G-SDI, ST 2110, or ST 2022-6. New apps for this platform enable multiple paths of frame synchronization and various conversions, including SDR-to-HDR.

For more specialized 12G-SDI or IP signal processing and conversion, Evertz will display the MIO-BLADE for the SCORPION Flexible Media Processing Platform.

Lastly, Evertz’s NEXX, a next-gen processing routing solution using 12G-SDI, will be showcased. This compact product is ideal for broadcast facilities and OB trucks, offering a robust solution for diverse broadcasting needs.
