Chinese company FALCAM has recently released yet another camera cage for the Panasonic LUMIX GH6.
It features an aluminum construction (198g) and offers 1/4”-20 mounting points, two extra cold shoe mounts, and F22/F38 quick-release interfaces. It is available now for $89.90.
The accessory seems to nicely wrap around the body, leaving all buttons and card/battery bays easily accessible, while several 1/4”-20 threads populate its surface. The camera’s native cold shoe mount remains free to use, while the cage provides additional top and left-side cold shoe interfaces.
Finally, since this product is part of the company’s proprietary quick-release ecosystem, it features built-in F22 and F38 QR interfaces. The former makes it compatible with existing FALCAM F22 accessories – including a Side Hand Grip, Dual Quick Release Pan Head, Quick Release Top Handle, and Dual Quick Release Magic Arm – while the latter allows users to quickly move between handheld, gimbal, and tripod setups.
