Canadian immersive production studio Felix & Paul Studios is to livestream NASA’s first big step in its planned return to the Moon.
The company will livestream the Artemis I launch, currently expected to take place in August, which it says will give viewers a one-of-a-kind front-row seat from the launch pad.
Artemis I is an unmanned, maiden flight of the integrated Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft which will venture thousands of miles beyond the Moon to verify system performance in hopes of bringing astronauts back to the lunar surface by 2024.
Felix & Paul Studios intends to capture Space Explorers: Artemis Ascending in 8K, 360-degree virtual reality and live streamed on a number of platforms, including Venues in Horizons World, Facebook 360, and 5G 360 streaming platforms of telco partners in specific territories.
