SOAR-A EDGE Enhancements
The SOAR-A EDGE, an IP transport appliance, is now enhanced with the ability to support the JPEG XS and AV1 codecs. This device facilitates secure REMI production and gateway-free streaming, boasting an IP-based architecture that enables the conversion and delivery of various signal formats, including SD, HD, 4K, and NDI to SMPTE ST 2110. The appliance is also compatible with WebRTC and uses RIST for reliable internet streaming.
SOAR-A PLAY Capabilities Expanded
The SOAR-A PLAY, a software-based media server powered by Odyssey, is designed to meet the needs of broadcasters, corporate A/V departments, and video production companies. The latest updates introduce an 8-channel capability for NDI, 3G, and SMPTE ST 2110 formats, with compliance across all NDI flavors and a new JPEG XS option for its ST 2110 server.
SOAR-A GRAPHICS Offers Advanced Integration
The SOAR-A GRAPHICS engine, powered by ClassX, supports the MOS protocol, enhancing communications between newsroom computer systems and various newsroom equipment. The XR version offers an affordable AR/VR/XR platform for both corporate A/V producers and broadcasters, incorporating sophisticated graphical functionalities.
SOAR-A SWITCH: Fully Software-Based Switcher
Powered by the graphical expertise of ClassX, the SOAR-A SWITCH provides a fully software-based switching solution with extensive artistic options for transitions and effects, catering to advanced production needs.
