Atomos, Fujifilm X-T50: 12-bit ProRes RAW Recording, 6.2K at 29.97fps

Atomos has introduced AtomOS 11.08.00, a firmware update that enhances the capabilities of the Fujifilm X-T50 camera.

This update enables the recording of 12-bit ProRes RAW video over HDMI from the Fujifilm X-T50 in 6.2K at up to 29.97 frames per second (fps).

Fujifilm X-T50 Recording Specifications

The Fujifilm X-T50 can now record 6240 x 3512 resolution video at 23.98, 24.00, 25, and 29.97 fps in 12-bit RAW format to compatible Atomos devices via its Micro-HDMI port. The camera also offers native integration with Frame.io’s camera-to-cloud functionality, providing seamless workflow solutions.

Additional Features of the Fujifilm X-T50

The Fujifilm X-T50 supports various recording modes, including 6.2K at 30 fps, 4K at 60 fps, and Full HD at 240 fps. It features 4:2:2 10-bit video recording, up to seven stops of in-body image stabilization, and a redesigned hand grip with a more curved design for better handling and precision.
