Global Arabic Bouquet Television (GAB) has announced the extension of its partnership with Globecast, Arabsat, and the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU).

This multi-year agreement aims to enhance the reach of Arab public broadcasters and their worldwide audiences.

Enhanced Distribution Services

Under the new agreement, Globecast will provide enhanced services for GAB by adding terrestrial distribution to its existing IPTV, digital TV, and OTT platforms. Viewers will be able to access GAB via Sling, Freeview, a bespoke application for Roku, and various operators across the US, Latin America, UK, and France. With facilities in the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia, and strong cloud integration capabilities, Globecast is positioned to meet GAB’s diverse geographical and distribution needs.

Historical Collaboration

Launched in 2004, GAB unites a range of Arabic public broadcasters, including the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, Sharjah TV, Oman TV, and Kuwait TV, into a single package distributed worldwide via satellite, OTT, and now terrestrial platforms. For the past twenty years, Globecast has been GAB’s preferred solutions partner, managing the distribution from its technical facilities across the US, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
