  • What are the main trends of IBC 2023, in your opinion?

I think AI is going to be a big deal at IBC 2023. Technologies like ChatGPT and other AI capabilities that help broadcasters in their work are likely to be in the spotlight. This includes speech-to-text, video processing, content creation, and everything else that’s currently available.

  • What are the main directions of development most characteristic in your segment of the industry?

We’re showcasing the latest Octopus 12 newsroom system, which also introduces a new upline. The system is enhanced with AI, incorporating AI workflows and several UI improvements. Additionally, we’re introducing I-Reporter, a video gathering platform, and KO:R, a planning and collaboration tool for broadcasters who prefer to consolidate their planning into a single system instead of using 20 different ones.

  • Are there any developments in integrating AI into your solutions?

We have a solution called the Connector. It doesn’t develop our AI tools but opens the doors for any AI tools that you might want to use with Octopus.
