Introduction of AI Features for Broadcasting

These AI tools automate key processes, such as content moderation and subtitle generation, allowing broadcasters and OTT streaming services to improve user safety and accessibility.
AI Content Moderation
Launched in July 2024, Gcore’s AI Content Moderation tool enables online service providers to automate the review of audio, text, and user-generated video content. This technology helps ensure compliance with regulations like the EU Digital Services Act and the UK Online Safety Bill. At IBC, Gcore will demonstrate how this AI technology processes content within seconds of publishing, utilizing advanced computer vision, optical character recognition, and speech recognition technologies.
AI Automatic Speech Recognition (AI ASR)
Gcore will publicly present its AI ASR technology for the first time at IBC. This feature automates the transcription and translation of captions and subtitles, supporting over 100 languages. AI ASR is designed for live news, sports events, and live TV shows, offering broadcasters a tool to quickly generate accurate subtitles, improving content accessibility for multilingual audiences and those with hearing impairments.
