Glensound’s AoIP22M and DARK DAWN 1616M at InfoComm 2024

Glensound, a leading company in high-quality audio systems, is exhibiting for the first time at InfoComm 2024.

The company is showcasing its reputation in the broadcast market and its ability to introduce new and upgraded products influenced by customer feedback. AoIP (Audio over IP) has become essential for products aimed at the A/V market, and Glensound offers an extensive range of networked products.

Introducing the AoIP22M

The AoIP22M is making its debut at InfoComm 2024. This small-format portable unit is similar to the popular AoIP22, featuring two analog inputs and outputs for interfacing with a Dante/AES67 network. The main difference with the AoIP22M is that the inputs can switch between line and microphone. The device is powered via USB-C, allowing connection to generic plug-top power supplies or USB power banks. Key features include mic/line switchable inputs on XLR or Phoenix connectors, independent 48v phantom power, variable input gain controls, and network connections through a single EtherCON Halo connector. Power options include PoE (Power over Ethernet) in addition to USB-C.

Introducing the DARK DAWN 1616M

The DARK DAWN 1616M is the first in a new generation of DARK Dante/AES67 interfaces. This update includes several features requested by users. The DARK DAWN interfaces are multichannel analog and AES input/output devices designed for studio settings where cosmetic appearance is important. Inputs are mic/line/48v switchable, and power redundancy is included with GPO fault reporting. Channel gain can be adjusted from the front panel or remotely via GlenController or UDP control on a separate network connection. Network connections can be either Dante or RAVENNA/AES67.

DARK8MAIP Highlight

The DARK8MAIP, now featuring Phoenix connectors as an alternative to XLRs, is another highlight. The original DARK8MAI is a highly specified 8-input microphone amplifier that is portable and can be controlled using the GlenController Windows remote application. The addition of Dante/AES67 network connectivity simplifies installation and increases reliability, with redundant power and network connections also included.

Vittoria 64 Network Isolation Bridge

On display at booth C5120 is the popular Vittoria 64 network isolation bridge. Initially released as a 32-channel system with Dante, the Vittoria gained popularity with the addition of the RAVENNA version. There has been a high demand for a 64-channel upgrade from the start.Vittoria 64 RR
