Globecast collaborates with Central City Productions’ Stellar Network for end-to-end cloud playout and distribution services.
Globecast, a global leader in media solutions, announced its collaboration with the Stellar Network, a fresh initiative from Central City Productions, to provide comprehensive cloud playout and distribution services. The Stellar Network, representing African American culture, is a linear TV and FAST channel aiming to cater to African American audiences.
Further strengthening its position, Globecast has deepened its ties with LA’s Network In A Box (NIAB), specialists in branding, positioning, curation, and platform operations. NIAB oversees content preparation, ensuring programming, scheduling, traffic, quality control, and delivery align. The content is then uploaded to Globecast’s AWS platform, followed by cloud playout via Inetsat technology and fiber distribution to MPVDs.
Additionally, Globecast has engaged with MuxIP, LA-based streaming channel experts, to consolidate the FAST channel and associated VOD content, subsequently supplying it to the streaming platform, Xumo TV.
