GMA Network, the Philippines’ leading broadcasting company, has integrated IPV Curator into its operations to manage its extensive media library.
This decision aims to enhance and automate video production workflows across its various platforms, including TV, radio, and online media.
Improved Collaboration and Productivity
With Curator’s intelligent media management software, GMA’s team of over 400 editors can now collaborate more efficiently. The software supports remote media workflows, streamlines the project review and approval process, and boosts overall media quality and productivity. The system allows producers and editors to quickly navigate GMA’s extensive video archive, making it easier to find and utilize existing media assets.
Cloud Transformation and Enhanced Media Access
GMA’s swift deployment of Curator will accelerate its transition to the cloud. The integration with Adobe creative tools and AWS cloud services enables native cloud editing, remote collaboration, and intelligent media management. Felipe S. Yalong, EVP and CFO at GMA, highlighted the benefits of this transformation, emphasizing improved global production continuity and instant access to media clips, regardless of location or bandwidth constraints.
Leveraging AWS and Amazon Rekognition for Intelligent Search
The adoption of AWS cloud storage, combined with Curator’s features, facilitates native cloud editing and intelligent search capabilities through Amazon Rekognition. This integration promises significant productivity gains by enabling quick discovery and analysis of content within GMA’s media library.
