Lectrosonics, a leading manufacturer of wireless systems for various applications including broadcast, film, music, location sound, houses of worship, live sound, and theatrical productions, has announced the appointment of Gordon Moore as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Moore retired as President of Lectrosonics in September 2024 after a 35-year career with the company.
Career Overview
Gordon Moore’s appointment as Chairman comes as no surprise to those familiar with his extensive contributions to the industry. Moore has been involved in the audio and AV industries since he joined Lectrosonics in 1988. In 1991, he began teaching audio systems design, theory, and troubleshooting at the ICIA (International Communications Industries Association) Academy. In 2000, he was recognized as Educator of the Year by the INFOCOMM Professional Education and Training Committee (PETC), and in 2015, he became Chairman of that committee. Moore also served as Vice President of Sales and Service before being appointed President of Lectrosonics in 2015.
Community Involvement
Moore is actively involved in various local professional and civic groups. He is a member of the Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce, where he was recently named Member of the Month, and participates in Leadership Sandoval, the chamber’s mentoring program. Additionally, he serves as Chairman of Technical Ministries at Rio Rancho United Methodist Church.
