The introduction of SRT support in the Aviwest PRO, AIR and RACK series now provides compatibility with the full portfolio of Haivision products and other SRT-enabled solutions.
This allows Aviwest devices to be used alongside Haivision’s other broadcast technologies in a wide variety of broadcast production scenarios, including multi-camera remote production, cloud distribution and distribution, and collaborative decentralized workflows.

The addition of SRT for streaming over fixed IP networks to Aviwest’s Safe Stream Transport (SST) technology, a two-time Emmy Award-winning cellular transmission of high-quality live video, greatly improves interoperability with live production equipment and remote productions. workflows that include a combination of mobile and wired video.
Clarification
In April 2022, Haivision completed the acquisition of Aviwest, an industry leader in IP-based mobile video content systems and a pioneer in live video over cellular networks. This acquisition expands Haivision’s portfolio of video transmission solutions to include 5G transmission, mobile video transmission and network convergence technology.
