Integration Managed by netorium

The integration of these new channels into RTL Deutschland’s existing ecosystem was managed by netorium, an application integrator based in Wiesbaden. netorium leveraged its knowledge of RTL’s technical infrastructure and its partnership with Harmonic to ensure smooth deployment. The integration process required compatibility with adjacent systems and various end devices, with netorium providing consultancy, design, implementation, and ongoing support.

Flexible Deployment Process

The deployment was conducted as an iterative process, allowing for flexible adjustments and testing. This approach ensured that RTL Deutschland could adapt the channels to viewer preferences without high investment costs, as the channels are operated entirely on a SaaS model.

Targeted Themed Channels

The new channels are themed offerings based on RTL Deutschland’s successful content formats, aimed at specific customer groups. Harmonic’s VOS360 Media platform, running on the public cloud, provides the scalability and flexibility needed for RTL Deutschland to create and deploy these channels efficiently. The platform’s business model allows RTL to pay only for what they use.
