SmallRig has introduced the new HawkLock Drop-In Quick Release Monitor Mount with NATO Clamp, designed for swiftly mounting and detaching an onboard monitor from the standard NATO rail on a camera cage.
This innovative mount system includes both a monitor bracket and a quick-release plate, featuring a tilting mechanism for onboard monitors. The design is reinforced with a secure V-Notch and lever releases for both the NATO rail clamp and the quick-release plate.
The mount is robust enough to hold up to 3.3 pounds, compatible with various monitors including models from the SmallHD Focus, Focus OLED, UltraBright, 500, 700 series, Atomos Ninja, Shinobi, Shogun series, Blackmagic Video Assist 5″ series, and Convergent Design Odyssey7Q+, Odyssey7Q.
Equipped with a quick-release plate that has a standard 1/4″-20 screw and removable locating pins, the mount also comes with an Allen wrench for secure tightening. The design of the mount allows for extensive motion, enabling users to adjust their monitors to the most convenient position. Stability is further ensured by a nonslip rubber pad.
