Following its 45th anniversary in 2024, Hiltron reports continued growth in demand for its satellite communication equipment, product distribution and systems integration services during 2025.
Completed projects covered the broadcast, security and telecommunications sectors.
HMAM-XY Enters Full Delivery Phase
Hiltron’s HMAM-XY motorized antenna mount, first shown at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam, became fully deliverable in 2025. Early orders included a European research organisation that purchased an HMAM-XY with a 2.4-meter parabolic reflector for installation at its headquarters in southern Germany. The system is used across multiple satcom test environments.
Tracking Capabilities and Technical Development
HMAM-XY was developed over a 15-year period following the original HMAM. The mount is designed for high-precision tracking of LEO and MEO satellites, smallsat constellations and airborne objects such as drones. It provides fast tracking speeds, high acceleration, low backlash, high pointing accuracy and full hemispheric coverage without zenith limitations.
Global Antenna Projects Completed in 2025
During 2025, Hiltron also served as technology partner for the construction and integration of offset batwing satellite antennas used for monitoring newly launched satellites worldwide. Each system includes a Hiltron multiband receive/transmit antenna with a 3.8-meter reflector and a Hiltron HMAM motorized mount.
Challenger Communications batwing reflectors were integrated due to their long focal length and sidelobe performance. System control is provided by the Hiltron HACU antenna control unit, which includes true-angle indicators for improved positioning stability. Each installation also incorporates a 4U Hiltron HACUX-IDU remote control panel with a touchscreen allowing full parameter access through a browser-style interface.
Exhibitions and Industry Engagement
Hiltron participated in multiple events during 2025, including:
– GovSatCom (27–28 February, Luxembourg)
– GoSatCom (24–26 March, Munich)
– International Broadcasting Convention (12–15 September, Amsterdam)
– Space Tech Expo Europe (18–20 November, Bremen)
Across these events, Hiltron showcased its full satcom product range, including HMAM-XY, HMAM-PM motorized polar mount, HACU antenna control unit, HRMU redundancy and monitoring unit, HDCU de-icing control unit and HMCS-MCR monitoring and control system.
Space Tech Expo Europe generated significant technical and commercial discussions with customers in the satellite communications sector.
