DHD Audio has recently completed a significant upgrade of the Rome-based production facilities for InBlu2000, an Italian radio and internet broadcaster.
This renovation was carried out under the supervision of BVMedia, a broadcast technology specialist based in Milan. The upgrade involved the integration of DHD’s audio mixing systems into the studio’s infrastructure.
InBlu2000: A Diverse Broadcasting Platform
InBlu2000, the radio platform of the Italian Episcopal Conference, broadcasts 24-hour programming across Italy through the EuroDAB multiplex. Its diverse content, including radio news, entertainment, and in-depth discussions on social, cultural, and religious topics, is also available on the inblu2000.it website, Facebook, Instagram, and X, along with a dedicated app. The broadcaster emphasizes coverage of religious, social, cultural, and musical events.
Upgrades in Rome and Future Plans for Milan
Roberto Bellotti, CEO of BVmedia, states that their team was tasked with modernizing the Rome facility, which included three production studios and a master control room. Plans are in place to upgrade the Milan studios in the future as part of the project’s second phase.
DHD’s Advanced Audio Mixing Solutions
Roberto Zeccara, Senior Project Manager at BVmedia, highlights the installation of DHD’s DX2 and TX audio mixers, along with Zenon Media broadcast management software. This combination is tailored to manage the station’s audio routing, automation, and event synchronization. The InBlu2000 team has expressed satisfaction with the ease of operation, flexibility, and scalability provided by the DX2 and TX mixers.
Features of the DHD DX2 and TX Mixers
The DHD DX2 is a compact desktop audio console, ideal for spaces with limited room. It includes a four-fader central module, a six-fader expansion unit, and is built for continuous operation. The DX2 features professional-grade motorized faders with dust protection, channel control buttons, adjustable gain settings, and a UTF8-supported channel identifier.

The TX boasts a 10.1-inch display with capacitive touchscreen faders, hardware pushbuttons, assignable potentiometers, an XLR microphone input, and an integrated loudspeaker. It connects to a DHD IP Core or concentrator via a single network cable.
