Insta360 has introduced the Flow Pro, an AI-powered tracking stabilizer designed for iPhones.
This device is the first gimbal to utilize Apple’s subject-tracking DockKit technology.
Key Features and Capabilities
The Flow Pro boasts several features aimed at enhancing mobile content creation. It enables precise tracking with the iPhone’s native camera and over 200 third-party apps. Key features include 3-Axis Stabilization, Deep Track 3.0, a built-in selfie stick and tripod, and 360° Infinite Pan Tracking with an LED Tracking Ring Light. These features make the Flow Pro suitable for mobile content creation, online meetings, video calls, and live streaming.
Payload Capacity and Compatibility
The Flow Pro has a maximum payload capacity of 300g (10.58 oz). Given that an Apple iPhone 15 Pro MAX weighs 221g (7.80 oz), using it with additional accessories such as a variable ND filter or an external SSD may exceed the weight limit. Therefore, Insta360 targets content creators and influencers who do not use these additional accessories with their smartphones.
Battery Life and Charging
The Flow Pro offers a battery life of up to 10 hours and charges via a USB-C input.
