Insta360 has released two new webcam models, the Link 2 and Link 2C, featuring a 1/2″ sensor and advanced audio capabilities with AI-driven noise cancellation for improved sound clarity.

Both models are equipped with a 1/2″ sensor, which captures more light and detail compared to typical webcams, supporting 4K resolution at 30fps. The cameras offer several AI-powered features such as:
- AI Tracking for single and multiple participants
- Auto Framing
- Gesture Control
- Natural Bokeh
- Customizable backgrounds
The larger sensor is designed to perform well in low-light environments, while the True Focus feature utilizes Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) for quick and precise focusing.
Model Differences
- Link 2: Comes with a 2-axis gimbal for stable video and AI-powered tracking to keep users in the frame.
- Link 2C: A compact, gimbal-free design, ideal for fixed setups, offering the same 4K image quality and AI features.
Audio Features
Both models include three noise reduction profiles:
- Voice Focus: Prioritizes the speaker’s voice.
- Voice Suppression: Reduces background noise.
- Music Balance: Maintains a balance between voice and background music.
Control and Tracking
The cameras offer AI Tracking and Auto Framing, allowing users to move freely during video calls or live streams. The Link 2 model introduces a Pause-Track Areas feature, which can exclude certain zones from tracking.
Gesture Control enables actions such as starting/stopping AI Tracking and activating Smart Whiteboard Mode. The Smart Whiteboard Mode can automatically detect and focus on a whiteboard during presentations.
Compatibility and Additional Features
Both webcams are compatible with popular video conferencing and streaming platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Twitch. Additional features include:
