ISE 2026 adds CyberSecurity Summit

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) adds the CyberSecurity Summit to its 2026 programme. Scheduled for 5 February 2026, the event will address cybersecurity challenges in professional AV and systems integration, focusing on digital threats to critical infrastructure, smart buildings, and public services.

The announcement coincides with European Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a campaign led by ENISA and the European Commission to promote digital safety. Cybercrime is increasing across Europe and globally, making the Summit highly relevant.

Cybersecurity as a Business Priority
Networked AV systems are exposed to vulnerabilities similar to IT infrastructure. The Summit will guide AV professionals on safeguarding systems, complying with regulations such as NIS2 and ISO 27001, and converting cybersecurity into a strategic business factor.

Speakers and Discussions
Pere Ferrer i Sastre, former Director General of the Catalan Police, will chair the Summit. Keynotes include Shaun Reardon (DNV Cyber), Timo Kosig and Andrew Dowsett (Barco Control Rooms), and Pedro Pablo Pérez (TRC). Roundtables with Laura Caballero, Folly Farrel, and Sergi Carmona will cover compliance, governance, and best practices.

Strategic Focus
The Summit aligns with ISE 2026’s “Push Beyond” theme, aiming to tackle urgent cybersecurity issues in AV. It provides essential knowledge and networking for integrators, manufacturers, IT managers, and facilities directors.
