Wohler announced an update to the iVAM2-MPEG Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) monitor, adding new SRT features and expanding front-panel functionality.
The device now supports CALLER and LISTENER modes, allowing users to start or receive SRT connections according to workflow requirements.
The update also enables monitoring of encrypted SRT streams, providing support for secure contribution and distribution feeds.
For setups carrying several SRT streams through one IP and port, operators can choose a required stream using STREAM-ID, which simplifies multi-stream operations.
Front-Panel MPEG Analyzer
The MPEG Stream Analyzer, previously available only through the web interface, is now accessible from the front panel.
Users can view and select PID tables directly on the unit, access structured MPEG program data, and choose audio, video, or subtitle PIDs for immediate decoding without switching to the web interface.
