iWedia and INNOPIA have announced that iWedia’s Android TV Custom Launcher will feature in Innopia Technologies’ Android TV-based set top boxes (STBs).
The Android TV Custom Launcher is a white-label solution from iWedia which features STAGE – a modern User Interface (UI) with multiscreen capability over all platforms. STAGE is compliant with Google’s operator tier program, easily brandable and skinable for quick deployment. The solution is able to scale to the needs of operators from OTT to Hybrid Functionality. Its pre-installed Value-Added Services (VAS), which include third party OTT integration, targeted advertising, video overlays, IoT and smart home features and personalization, enable operators to drive greater value for customers and enjoy enhanced revenues.
iWedia’s Android TV Custom Launcher also features the Live TV Application, which is one of the most popular applications among end users. The Live TV app features an EPG guide, channel list and parental controls. On its launch, major new features include branding options for TV brands, with customisable look and feel; Rich metadata (optional add-on); Voice Control with Google Assistant; Deep linking with streaming services and seamless integration with Google TV.
