Jeffrey Liberman Joins NAB TV Board of Directors

Jeffrey Liberman, President and COO of Entravision Communications, has been appointed to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Television Board of Directors.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Television Board of Directors has welcomed a new member, Jeffrey Liberman, who is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Entravision Communications. This appointment, announced by Pat LaPlatney, the Chair of the Television Board, is effective immediately. Liberman steps into the role formerly held by Eddie Melendez, the previous President of Local Media at Entravision Communications.

Under Liberman’s leadership since 2017 as President and COO, Entravision has become known for its diverse media and advertising solutions on a global scale. The company’s portfolio includes 49 television stations broadcasting local news in 21 markets and serving as the largest affiliate for major networks like TelevisaUnivision and UniMas. Additionally, Entravision manages 46 predominantly Spanish-language radio stations and a network featuring renowned syndicated talents. Beyond broadcasting, Entravision provides comprehensive advertising services across 40 countries, utilizing digital and social media channels. It also leverages its proprietary software platforms for targeted global advertising.

Liberman’s tenure at Entravision began in 2000 as the President of the radio division, prior to his promotion to COO in 2012. His experience in the media industry dates back to 1974, encompassing management and operational roles in Spanish-language television and radio stations. Before joining Entravision, he was the station manager at Latin Communications Group, a role he held until the company’s acquisition by Entravision in 2000.
