Hello, my name is Johan Lieffers, and I am the Managing Director at Datavideo for the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). We are here in Barcelona to showcase our latest and most innovative products.
TKT1957: What new products is your company showcasing at ISE 2024?
Johan: The first product I’d like to highlight is our HS-4000, which is our Ultra HD switcher. It supports 8 to 12 live source inputs. Additionally, we are showcasing our PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras with auto-tracking capabilities. These cameras incorporate AI technology, providing a more simplified user experience. The auto-tracking feature can be easily toggled on and off, and it allows users to select a person to keep in frame at all times.
Our auto-tracking feature offers flexibility in use; for example, users can choose to position the selected person in the middle of the frame or off-center, giving them creative control over the shot composition. When a camera is outputting a live feed, simply pressing “live video” will display the feed on your monitor.
We are also excited to introduce our new voice TRX 100 CPU, which supports Seinheiser and Shure microphones, allowing users to switch seamlessly between audio sources, including making a clean cut from a camera that has been moved into position. Additionally, we’re introducing lower thirds that activate when someone is speaking. All these new technologies are available now and ready for use.
