AJA Video Systems has recently announced the appointment of John Miller, a distinguished professional in the media and entertainment (M&E) sector, as its new Vice President of Global Sales.
Miller brings to the table an impressive background with over 30 years of experience in enhancing revenue streams for various organizations, including those focused on software as a service (SaaS), media asset management, and the development of integrated hardware and software solutions. His career includes significant roles at industry-leading companies such as Vizrt Group, BeBop, Brightcove, Avid, and Autodesk.

Under his new role, Miller will be responsible for directing AJA’s international sales teams, promoting the company’s extensive product lineup. Nick Rashby, President of AJA, expressed enthusiasm about Miller’s addition to the team, highlighting his well-established reputation, his successful management of teams across emerging technologies and sales models, as well as his experiences with mergers and acquisitions. Background of Experience and Achievement
Prior to joining AJA, Miller held the position of Enterprise Sales Director at Vizrt, a provider of visual storytelling tools, where he led the management of major broadcast accounts, surpassing sales targets and fostering team unity to ensure project success. He has also played pivotal roles in leading sales and marketing at BeBop Technology, serving as VP of Americas Media Sales at Brightcove, and significantly contributing to sales growth at Avid as Senior Sales Director for the US and Canada. Miller’s leadership was instrumental in driving revenue at Maximum Throughput before its acquisition by Avid in 2009, and he previously managed worldwide sales and marketing for Autodesk’s M&E division, following a tenure with Discreet Logic. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Assumption University in Worcester, MA.
