Qvest: Jonas Michaelis Named Chief Strategy Officer

Qvest, involved in digital transformation for broadcast, media, and entertainment, has named Jonas Michaelis as the new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

His primary responsibilities include executing the company’s global strategy and improving collaboration among Qvest’s offices in Europe, the USA, Australia, and the MENA region.

Focus Areas and Strategic Projects

In his role as CSO, Michaelis will work closely with CEO Peter Nöthen, CTO Thomas Müller, CFO Christian Boris Hönig, and other key members of the management team. His tasks will involve leading strategic projects such as expanding Qvest’s global Artificial Intelligence and Managed Service Practices, setting up operations in Saudi Arabia, and refining the organizational structure in light of recent and upcoming acquisitions.

Dual Role at qibb

Michaelis will also continue to serve as CEO of qibb, a Qvest spin-off that focuses on low-code integration platforms for media workflows. He has been leading qibb’s global development since 2021 and will maintain his responsibilities for strategy and marketing.

Professional Background

Before joining Qvest, Michaelis worked as a consultant on digital business models at BCG and Picus Capital. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Business Administration and Finance, with studies completed in Mannheim, Hong Kong, and Paris.

Qvest has expanded from 300 to around 1,300 employees since 2016 through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.
