During the NAB 2024 event, JVC Professional Video is set to host special guests Roberto Musso, NDI Technical Director, and Heath Barker, vMix Senior Systems Engineer, at its booth (C4720).
These sessions aim to highlight the contributions of NDI and vMix solutions to remote production workflows, emphasizing the integration with JVC’s PTZ and handheld cameras among other production tools.
Joseph D’Amico, Vice President of JVC Professional Video, expressed enthusiasm about the participation of Musso and Barker. He emphasized the significance of NDI and vMix solutions in enhancing the offerings for JVC’s customers. D’Amico highlighted the rapid adoption of NDI-enabled devices by media organizations and acknowledged vMix’s reputation in live streaming production.
NDI Technology and Its Impact
NDI technology, introduced as a free firmware update, now enhances many of JVC’s cameras, including PTZ and handheld models, offering users increased flexibility. Roberto Musso is scheduled to discuss the benefits of NDI technology for simplifying video production. The NDI-focused sessions will include interactive discussions, a Q&A, and demonstrations of JVC’s latest products on April 15 and 16 at 3 p.m.
JVC’s PTZ cameras, such as the KY-PZ510N CONNECTED CAM™ featuring NDI HX3 technology, and the GY-HC500 CONNECTED CAM series of handheld cameras, stand out for their NDI capabilities, facilitating integration within existing IP infrastructures.
vMix Integration with JVC Solutions
Heath Barker will engage in open dialogue and a Q&A session about integrating vMix 27 software with JVC products, scheduled for April 15 at 1 p.m. This session will explore how JVC customers can leverage vMix for creating, mixing, switching, recording, and live streaming professional productions.
JVC showcases several tools that complement vMix’s software, including the KM-IP8S4 CONNECTED CAM vMix Studio Switcher and the RM-LP350G CONNECTED CAM vMix Control Surface, designed for traditional-style switching. Additionally, JVC will display its new professional sports series IP switcher and the RM-LP450G vMix Control Surface, enhancing live event broadcasts and productions with up to eight channels of instant replay.
