  1. Camera Features

In their latest KineOS 7.2 update, Kinefinity continues to enhance its camera products with several noteworthy features. One standout addition is the extended Pre-roll function, allowing users to pre-record up to 30 seconds in high resolution and full-frame rates, ensuring crucial moments are not missed. The update also includes a user-friendly Pre-roll interface for improved usability.

Another notable improvement is the integration of the ExFAT file system, boosting write speeds by 30% and enhancing compatibility with both Windows and iOS devices. This addition is expected to streamline workflow efficiency and enable high-bitrate recording in 6K and 8K.

KineOS 7.2 also introduces active E-mount support for the MAVO Edge/MAVO mark2, offering compatibility with various electronic E-mount options. This feature provides greater flexibility in lens selection, with in-camera electronic control for iris, focus, servo zoom, and metadata recording, following the cinema lenses Cooke/I protocol.

Additional enhancements in this update include improved startup times, the ability to delete the last recorded clip, enhanced stability during high-frame-rate and high-resolution recording, and external timecode display on SDI outputs.

Furthermore, several bugs have been addressed, such as issues with parameter display on the side screen, parameter adjustment in the app, system language display, color accuracy on SDI output, and default parameter settings after a factory reset.
