K-Tek introduces the Stingray BackPack X, a 20-liter capacity bag designed for audio professionals on the move.
K-Tek, a renowned manufacturer in the sound recording industry, recently announced the launch of their latest product, the K-Tek Stingray BackPack X. This innovative backpack, designed primarily for solo sound technicians and traveling journalists, offers a practical solution for transporting recording equipment efficiently and securely.
The Stingray BackPack X, with its 20-liter capacity, is crafted to accommodate the essentials of a one-person-band, including a mixer bag, additional audio equipment, a laptop, and other necessary items. Its design focuses on maximizing comfort, compactness, and security, catering specifically to the needs of professionals in the field.
One of the unique features of this backpack is its adjustable, integrated harness system. This front-facing harness allows for the quick and effortless transition of an audio mixer bag from the storage compartment to an operational position. The operator can simply move the mixer bag to the front of the pack using snap-hooks, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
The backpack is structured with three spacious zippered compartments. It includes a padded section for safely storing a 17-inch laptop, multiple mesh pockets for smaller items, a fold-away holder for a boom cup, and various MOLLE straps. These straps are designed to support a wide range of gear and accessories, adding to the bag’s versatility. Additionally, the Stingray Front Pouch, which is sold separately, can be attached to the MOLLE straps of the BackPack X, providing even more storage space.
Durability and resilience are key aspects of the Stingray BackPack X’s design. Constructed from heavy-duty black nylon, it is robust, long-lasting, and resistant to moisture. The backpack is available with either orange (KSBPX) or purple (KSBPXP) interior lining and detailing, offering a touch of personal style. It also comes with a detachable raincover for extra protection against the elements.
