Integrated Systems Europe, taking place on February 3–6, 2026 in Barcelona, is a key global event for professional AV technology. Lawo uses the exhibition to highlight how IP-based systems are changing production workflows for live events, theaters, opera venues, and stadiums.
At booth 5H700, the company presents the mc² mixing console lineup, the HOME Platform, and the HOME Apps ecosystem for audio and video processing.
mc² Scalability for Frontend and Backend
Lawo displays multiple mc² workflow options, ranging from virtual software panels and mc² crystal controllers to the mc²56 MkIII Extender and full mc²56 MkIII surfaces. The latest fader bay pop-ups with touch operation are shown for distributed and dual-operator environments.
The mc² frontend works with the A__UHD Core, the HOME mc² DSP app, or combined setups. HOME Apps now support converged operation on a single machine, lowering weight, rack usage, and power needs. The EQ modules gain three additional dynamic filter bands.
Solutions for Opera and Theater
Lawo demonstrates native QLab integration and a workflow with zactrack tracking systems. The setup supports automated actor tracking, mute control, and real-time data adjustments directly from the mc² console while sending object data to immersive audio engines.
HOME Apps: Processing Tools for Multiple Disciplines
The HOME Apps ecosystem includes tools for audio shuffling, mixing, multiviewing, format conversion, color correction, downstream keying, essence delay, and stream transcoding. The platform runs on standard servers and processes SMPTE ST2110, AES67, SRT, WebRTC, and NDI, with native Dante support planned.
Users can activate required processing resources within seconds using flexible licensing. The workflow fits various audio and video processing needs.
SDI/IP Conversion via .edge
Lawo’s .edge platform offers high-density SDI/IP conversion. It handles SDI–IP bridging, embedding, de-embedding, channel routing, and color correction, providing edge-level processing for environments requiring large-scale conversion.
Use in Major Venues
Lawo systems operate in opera houses, stadiums, and institutional environments. mc² consoles and A__UHD Cores integrated with HOME are used for immersive audio in performance venues. ST2110 infrastructures support 4K operations in sports facilities, while IP-based systems are deployed in governmental installations.
