Lexar is preparing to launch a Kickstarter campaign for their new product, the Lexar Professional Go Portable SSD with Hub.
This portable SSD is designed to be universally compatible, particularly tailored for use with the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro, enabling the recording of Apple 4K ProRes videos externally. Its ultra-compact design allows it to store up to 2TB of data.
Compact Design
Lexar, known for its data storage and memory solutions, has developed the Go Portable SSD, a small yet powerful storage solution. The kit measures 2.71×1.71×0.32 inches (6.88×4.35×0.81 cm), and the SSD itself is even smaller at 1.71×0.98×0.32 inches (4.35×2.48×0.81 cm). The included hub offers multiple connectivity options with four Type-C ports, allowing connections to the Portable SSD, microphones, power banks, and more. One port supports 30W PD charging and offers a transfer speed of 10Gbps, enabling external recording of Apple 4K ProRes videos while handling audio and charging needs simultaneously.

The Lexar Professional Go Portable SSD boasts a USB 3.2 Gen2 high-speed interface, with read speeds up to 1050MB/s and write speeds up to 1000MB/s. It comes with a silicone protective case, has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, and can withstand drops from a height of 1 meter.
