FIFA World Cup 2026 Draw on LiveModeTV YouTube Channel

LiveModeTV’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Draw aired on 5 December from wTVision’s chroma studio in Lisbon.

The YouTube-native programme combined a fully virtual set, multiple live feeds and Portuguese football figures.

The show streamed on the LiveModeTV_PT YouTube channel and followed a three-part structure: pre-show, Live Draw and post-show reaction. The format focused on continuous audience engagement throughout the event.

On-Screen Talent and Editorial Structure

YouTuber and streamer Movemind (Diogo da Silva) hosted the broadcast. Former international footballer Ricardo Quaresma and futsal player Ricardinho appeared as guests. Commentary and analysis were provided by Tomás da Cunha and Mário Cagica. The panel reviewed all groups and discussed Portugal’s draw path in real time.

The production took place entirely at wTVision’s Lisbon facilities using wVSet. The chroma studio featured a virtual scenography designed and operated by wTVision. LiveMode authored the on-air graphic package, while wTVision integrated Flowics into its production workflow. Studio CG managed video clip and editorial playout during the programme.

Signal Integration and External Feeds

wTVision’s engineering team handled technical preparation and signal management. The setup included one satellite feed and one SRT feed from the Official Draw, plus an additional FIFA red carpet feed. All signals were synchronised and routed into the virtual environment.

The Draw broadcast marked an early flagship project for LiveModeTV in Portugal. The digital sports channel plans to stream all Portugal matches at the FIFA World Cup 2026, along with one daily top match, totaling 34 games on YouTube.

“LiveModeTV is rewriting how major events reach fans in Portugal, and we wanted our studios to match that ambition from day one,” said Paulo Ferreira, CCO and Board Member at wTVision.
