The new addition to the LiveU IP-video EcoSystem offers a seamless way to receive LRT (LiveU Reliable Transport) live feeds from any LiveU device and output them as 2110-compliant streams.

LiveU, a pioneer in IP-video broadcasting, has unveiled its 4K/Quad HD video receiver for ST 2110 broadcast facilities, streamlining the transition to end-to-end IP workflows. This innovation simplifies connectivity from on-site to the studio.

The LU4000 ST 2110 receiver, built on LiveU’s LRT protocol, supports a resilient, low-latency IP-to-IP workflow. It can handle a single 4K video or up to four HD live feeds, enhancing the scalability of ST 2110. With automated tasks, the receiver optimizes the routing, switching, and processing of bonded video, audio, and data streams.

Fully NMOS-compliant, the LU4000 ST 2110 ensures easy device discovery and control. Its design is future-ready, allowing for upcoming workflow enhancements. It also meets the 2022-7 SMPTE-defined path redundancy standard, ensuring stable stream transmission and hardware-based Precision Time Protocol (PTP) synchronization.

Rozmarin further noted the importance of adaptability and flexibility, assuring customers of LiveU’s continued support across both IP and SDI platforms.
