LiveU expands to Spain

The company said the move is in response to ever-decreasing demand for its technology in the country.

LiveU has opened a new office in Madrid, Spain and recruited Laura Llames from Mediapro to serve as the country manager. The company said the move is in response to ever-decreasing demand for its technology in the country.

Llames joins from Mediapro, where she was commercial director of LVP (Professional Video games League).

She said: “I’m really excited to be working with LiveU. The company is constantly looking at ways to expand its local presence and with the growth we’re experiencing in the country, and the diverse nature of our customers and their requirements, it’s essential that we can satisfy their needs, quickly and accurately. ”

Speaking about the company’s expansion, Zion Eilam, regional VP of sales, EMEA, LiveU, added:  “Spain has been a very successful market for LiveU and is one that continues to grow, both in terms of the number of customers with which we are working and the increasing range of LiveU solutions they want to deploy. These go hand-in-hand with our expanding cloud-based services and continually upgraded range of 5G IP bonding transmission solutions.”
