Luis Fernández has stepped in as the new chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. He is taking over from Beau Ferrari, who transitions to a senior advisory role focusing on strategic growth for the News Group and NBCUniversal.
Previously the president of Noticias Telemundo, the network’s news division, Fernández is rejoining Telemundo. He brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career in Spanish-language media, both as a broadcast executive and a celebrated journalist. His track record includes developing successful programming across various platforms, as highlighted by NBCUniversal Telemundo.

Diverse Media Experience Fernández’s career includes several high-profile roles. He served as CEO of Radio Television Española (RTVE) in Spain and held top positions at Univision Entertainment and Univision Studios. His international experience includes serving as the International CEO of Real Madrid in Beijing. Additionally, he has been part of the leadership at Canal +, Telecinco, Cadena SER, Radio EL PAÍS, and Cadena COPE.
