Together, Stagenet and ConvertIP offer the versatility and scalability essential for deploying top-notch, low-latency JPEG XS/ST 2110/IPMX IP video setups.

Matrox Video and STAGETEC are set to unveil their collaborative demonstration at IBC2023, spotlighting STAGETEC’s Stagenet 1.0 IP signal management control software. This software simplifies IP management, making it accessible even to those without IT expertise.

The demo will feature Stagenet 1.0 and Matrox ConvertIP DRH converters in a 1 Gb/s network setting. It aims to guide video professionals in navigating the intricacies of IP signal management, enabling a seamless transition to IP operations without the need for specialized network management personnel.

Rehman Leigh, a Stagenet Specialist at STAGETEC, emphasized the ease of deploying high-quality, low-latency setups using Matrox ConvertIP and Stagenet. He stated that with these tools, IP signal management becomes straightforward, eliminating the need for specialized staff.

Stagenet’s software system offers an intuitive interface, making IP signal management user-friendly. It autonomously handles various technical facets of IP signal management, such as controlling network devices, managing multicast addresses, setting up IP senders and receivers, and monitoring these processes. Furthermore, Stagenet can serve as a foundation for conventional broadcast control systems, allowing operators to focus on their tasks while Stagenet manages the intricate IP details.

Matrox ConvertIP converters facilitate the integration of the latest AV-over-IP technologies, like JPEG XS and IPMX, into existing video setups, optimizing 1G workflows for an ultra-low-latency experience. These devices support interoperable, adaptable, and expandable IP-based video production, transmitting flawless, zero-latency 4K signals over networks.

During the IBC2023 demonstration, Stagenet 1.0 will connect all video devices over a 1 Gb/s network, showcasing its comprehensive control over Matrox ConvertIP units, which will regulate video distribution. Stagenet will also integrate audio devices from STAGETEC and Merging Technologies and manage Arista switches, consolidating components into one cohesive system. Attendees can experience Stagenet’s user-friendly browser-based interface, which allows effortless addition of new devices, emphasizing Stagenet’s commitment to user convenience.
