Exclusive Interview with Matthias Fuchs, Technical Sales Manager at Leader Electronics Corp., Germany, at Cabsat 2024.

TKT1957: Could you tell us about the innovative products your company is presenting here?

Matthias Fuchs: We have a significant update for our LV5350 waveform monitor. The LV5350 now features the ability to display false color from ARRI, Sony, and RED cameras. Specifically, with ARRI cameras, it can show the exposure index on automation. So, while you are producing and changing the exposure index, the waveform monitor will follow and display these changes accurately.

TKT1957: What are your thoughts on the future trends in the broadcast industry?

Matthias Fuchs: The future of our industry is heading towards a more hybrid approach. While IP technology, including ST 2110, is a big topic and will continue to develop, SDI will remain relevant for the next 10 to 15 years. It won’t be completely replaced; instead, it will become another essential tool in our toolkit.
