Meike has introduced a new speed booster locking mount adapter, the Meike Canon EF-RF X0.71. This adapter allows users to attach full-frame EF-mount lenses to S35 RF mount cameras, such as the Canon C70 and RED KOMODO/KOMODO-X.
The adapter boosts the aperture by one stop and reduces the focal length, with an equivalent focal length calculation of Focal Length x 0.71 x 1.6. Additionally, it includes electronic contacts and supports both autofocus (AF) and image stabilization (IS) for EF series lenses.
Focus Distance Adjustment
To ensure precise focus, the adapter comes with shims that can be used to adjust the focus distance if it does not match perfectly.
Build Quality and Resistance
Both the lens mount and camera mount are constructed from metal. The adapter is designed to be resistant to water drops and dust, ensuring durability in various conditions.
Pricing and Availability
The Meike Canon EF-RF X0.71 speed booster locking mount adapter will be available starting June 30th at a price of $279.99 USD.
