Michele Channer Appointed as Managing Director of Panalux

She will succeed Mark Furssedonn, who is retiring on June 30th after nearly four decades with the Panavision group.

Mark Furssedonn’s career with Panavision spans 39 years, during which he played a significant role in the Grip and Remote Systems division and managed Panavision’s camera and optics operations in Mainland Europe and Africa. Furssedonn has been the Managing Director of Panalux since the beginning of 2021.

Michele Channer’s Professional Background

Michele Channer joined the Panavision group in 2018 as the Managing Director of Direct Digital. In 2021, her role expanded to include oversight of Island Studios. In 2023, she was appointed as Business Development Director for Panalux, where she led sales efforts, managed the long-form team, and explored new revenue opportunities. Before joining Panavision, Channer held positions such as General Manager at Fixation, International Sales and Marketing Director at Hasselblad, and Managing Director at Calumet Photographic.

New Responsibilities

In her new role, Channer will be responsible for overseeing all sales, operations, transportation, and facilities for Panalux, Island Studios, and Direct Digital.
