This new addition shares its technology and material composition with the acclaimed Solo-Q tripod, yet offers the convenience of a monopod form.
Specifications and Features
The Solo-Q Pod is lightweight, tipping the scales at 2.2 pounds (approximately 1 kilogram), and offers an adjustable height ranging from 23 inches (about 59 centimeters) to 69 inches (around 173 centimeters). It incorporates Miller’s patented Solo-Q lock/release mechanism, enabling quick setup times. Furthermore, the monopod is equipped with 3-stage rapid leg locks, enhancing its stability and usability.
Designed to support a maximum payload of 22 pounds (or 10 kilograms), the Solo-Q Pod is versatile and can accommodate various camera setups. Its base is fitted with a swivel rubber foot, which can be replaced with an optional Miller monopod base stand for increased stability. Cameras can be mounted directly to the monopod or through the use of a Miller AirV head, adding to the Solo-Q Pod’s flexibility.
