Exclusive interview with Mohammed Abu Ziyadeh, Regional Manager Middle East and Africa at FOR-A Company Limited, UAE, at Cabsat 2024.
TKT1957: Could you introduce yourself and tell us about FOR-A’s presence at Cabsat 2024?
My name is Mohammed Abu Ziyadeh. I’m the Regional Manager of FOR-A Middle East and Africa. FOR-A is a Japanese manufacturer of broadcast equipment, based in Tokyo since 1971, giving us over 53 years in the broadcast industry. We manufacture a range of products, including vision mixers, routers, multiviewers, and processors. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Cabsat, and we are here to showcase our latest technologies and products.
TKT1957: What solutions and technologies is your company presenting here?
We have organized our booth into four main sections. The first section features our hybrid stream solutions. The second section highlights our 12G and uncompressed IP solutions. The third section is dedicated to sports solutions, and the last section focuses on playout and encoder/decoder solutions.
TKT1957: What are your forecasts concerning the development of broadcast, cinema, and professional AV? What is the main trend?
The trend in the broadcast industry is moving towards IP solutions, and we are focusing heavily on IP and 12G solutions. Most of our equipment supports 12G, allowing us to offer complete systems including vision mixers, routers, multiviewers, and processors in 12G. At the same time, we provide gateways to IP, supporting products for IP infrastructure as well.
