MSolutions, a prominent provider of AV testing tools and collaborative solutions, is set to unveil their latest product, the MS-41Q video processor, at the upcoming ISE 2024 event.
This new device is designed to efficiently manage and upscale four HDMI inputs to 4K resolution at 60fps with a 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, maintaining a high bandwidth of up to 18Gbps. The processor is particularly useful in areas such as live production, security, and various other applications that require high-quality visual monitoring. MSolutions plans to showcase the capabilities of the MS-41Q, including its proficiency in handling UHD, HD, and SD signals, at their exhibition stand 5G820 during the ISE event, held from January 30 to February 2 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
Versatile Screen Layout Options
The MS-41Q offers extensive flexibility to its users, featuring six pre-set screen layouts and the capacity for eight additional custom layouts. These can be swiftly adjusted to accommodate various viewing perspectives, catering to the dynamic needs of environments such as university campuses and shopping centers. The device allows for rapid switching between input channels and layout modes, ensuring smooth transitions among different display sources, including cameras, media players, and computers.
Simplified Configuration and Management
MSolutions has integrated their MS-OPS AV over IP management tool with the MS-41Q, streamlining the configuration process. Users can design and modify layouts through a web browser and implement these changes over an IP network. Additionally, the MS-41Q can be operated via an RS-232 interface. Its design, fitting into a 1RU enclosure, makes it a convenient addition to any rack system, suitable for use in production studios, security offices, and command and control rooms.
A Word from MSolutions CTO
Ariel Marcus, CTO of MSolutions, highlights the device’s adaptability in configuration and source management as its key feature. Marcus points out that the MS-41Q’s ability to handle various HDMI sources with different stacking or splitting configurations, like the standard 2×2 quad layout, makes it highly effective for both regular monitors and extensive video walls.
Showcasing MS-IP18G AV over IP Devices
In addition to the MS-41Q, MSolutions will also present their MS-IP18G AV over IP devices, first introduced at ISE 2023. These devices, including HDMI 2.0 transmitters and receivers, are capable of delivering high-resolution 4K@60 4:4:4 video and audio over 1Gb networks. They support various functionalities like PoE, KVM, RS-232 and CEC passthrough, and USB connectivity, making them ideal for AV source routing over IP in collaborative spaces.
