MwareTV is set to present its television management system (TVMS) at IBC2024, taking place from 13 – 16 September in Amsterdam.
The main highlight of their showcase will be the launch of version 2.0 of the App Builder, a no-code tool designed for creating user interfaces with a drag-and-drop approach.
App Builder 2.0: Simplifying User Interface Design
The App Builder is an integral part of MwareTV’s TVMS, offering a comprehensive solution for launching, maintaining, and monetizing video streaming services. The platform is cloud-hosted and provides all the necessary tools to support a multi-channel service. The App Builder allows operators to create consistent user interfaces across various devices, including set-top boxes, smart TVs, computers, tablets, and mobiles, without requiring any coding expertise. This approach simplifies the design process, enabling faster time-to-market and seamless updates across all platforms.
Cloud-Hosted and Scalable Platform
MwareTV’s platform is entirely cloud-hosted, which allows operators to set up new services quickly without significant capital investment. The system is scalable, with costs tied directly to subscriber numbers, ensuring that expenses grow in line with revenue. In certain markets, MwareTV also offers fully licensed content across multiple genres, providing both local and international channels.
CEO’s Remarks
MwareTV CEO Sander Kerstens emphasized the company’s focus on simplifying the process of launching and growing streaming services. Kerstens highlighted the ease of use provided by the web-based user interface and the additional functionality introduced in version 2.0 of the App Builder. This new version includes features such as rich metadata integration, educational games, and high-refresh-rate content, further enhancing the platform’s capabilities.
