Nanlite has released its latest lighting products, the Alien 150C and 300C panel lights, designed with a focus on advanced features and user flexibility.
These new models are compact, durable, and come with a range of control and power options, making them suitable for various professional lighting needs.
Key Features of the Alien 150C and 300C
The Alien 150C and 300C are LED full-color panel lights with rated power outputs of 175W and 350W, respectively. These lights provide high-intensity illumination, delivering 13,050 lux (Alien 150C) and 28,630 lux (Alien 300C) at 1 meter with a color temperature of 5600K. The dimming range extends from 0.0% to 100.0% in 0.1% increments, offering precise control over brightness levels.
The lights feature a wide CCT range from 2700K to 12000K with ±150 green/magenta adjustment, ensuring compatibility with various lighting conditions. The color rendition is strong, with CRI and TLCI averages of 96 and 97, respectively, and TM-30 averages of Rf 94 and Rg 100.
Comprehensive Control and Versatile Power Options
Nanlite has equipped the Alien series with multiple control methods, including on-board control, remote control, the Nanlink App, DMX/RDM, and LumenRadio CRMX. The lights can be powered via AC/DC or V-mount batteries, with hot-swapping capability between different power sources.
The lamp heads of the Alien 150C and 300C weigh 3.6kg and 6.6kg, respectively, allowing for easy mounting on various stands. Both models also come with a pop-up softbox for soft light diffusion.
Advanced Design and Durability
The Alien series lights incorporate advanced optical design and efficient cooling technology. The rear of the lamp heads is fitted with an aluminum alloy heat sink, supported by dual fans, to ensure quiet operation and effective heat dissipation. The lights are equipped with five fan modes: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, Pause, and Off.
The lamp heads have an IP55 rating, with a rain cover included for the control unit, allowing for use in harsh weather conditions.
Lighting Modes and User Interface
The Alien 150C and 300C offer various lighting modes, including CCT, HSI, RGBW, Gel, XY Coordinates, and Effect Mode, with 15 built-in effects that can be customized. The user interface has been redesigned with intuitive icons and a clearer layout for easier navigation and control.
