Nara, a FilmLight venture, has integrated MASV, known for its ultra-fast and secure file transfer services, into the Nara platform – providing users with another tool to further streamline the media workflow.
LONDON — 11 September 2024
Nara, which allows users to instantly access and stream 160+ codecs and formats, was launched earlier this year to improve media workflows and this latest integration with MASV further supports this goal by offering users access to another popular workflow tool.
The MASV x Nara integration is a game-changer for media professionals, enabling them to instantly review their files and securely send them to collaborators or clients, regardless of file size or format. With the MASV plugin for Nara, users can distribute files without leaving the Nara interface. Whether working on set, in the office or remotely, users can push content directly to clients using MASV.
By leveraging MASV’s high-speed transfer capabilities, this integration minimises workflow bottlenecks, ensuring teams stay on schedule without compromising quality.
“We’re delighted to collaborate with MASV on this latest plugin for Nara,” says Steve Britnell, Nara’s Head of Technical Development. “Thanks to MASV’s flexible API, the integration process was smooth and efficient and we have been able to incorporate MASV’s powerful transfer capabilities into Nara without significant complexity – which means we can offer our users an intuitive, high-performance experience.”
For media professionals working across multiple locations or in collaboration-heavy environments, this partnership offers an ideal solution to stay productive, lower costs, and improve the overall experience of managing and sharing files.
”MASV is thrilled to be working with Nara to provide instant access to media from anywhere in the world,” says Greg Wood, CEO at MASV. “The simplicity of the MASV platform and API combined with our consistently high performance anywhere in the world provides ground-breaking workflow efficiencies to media professionals, all within the Nara interface.”
The Nara team will be at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam from 13-16 September 2024, showcasing the latest features in Nara (including the latest MASV plugin) at Hotel INNSiDE by Melia, as well as on partner booths on the show floor: AWS, pixitmedia, and Quantum.
