Nembrini Audio has announced the introduction of the new Bass Driver plugin, a three-band overdrive/amp sim based on the SansAmp Bass Driver DI and designed to extend the possibilities of the original in allowing users to sculpt their bass tones further for added contemporary textures and balance.
The new plugin includes three band distortion/overdrive sections blended with two crossover parametric tone equalization and presence for upper harmonic content. For added control, there is a nine-band graphic equalizer with proportional Q.
Four selected bass guitar cab emulations, four mic simulations with position and distance controls, a parallel D.I. pre/post amplifiers with EQ controls and desk compressors work together to provide further sound variations. In addition, the Impulse Loader lets users load up to two third-party impulse responses, blend them together and mix with the DI pre/post. Bass Driver’s Bass Enhancer circuit is inspired by Little Labs Voice of God* to increase bass low end and its noise gate has been bass optimized.
