Nico Lewis, Senior Sales Manager of RTS Intercom Systems EMEA (Bosch Security Systems), Germany, participated in the TFT 1957 survey of ISE 2025 exhibitors on their showcased solutions and equipment in Barcelona, February 4-7, 2025.
– What is RTS Intercom Systems showcasing at ISE 2025? What is your main product here?
At ISE 2025, we are introducing Neo, a new software platform. In the past, we developed Adam Edit and Zeus Edit, which were originally DOS-based. Over time, we merged them into AC Edit, IP Edit, and Red Edit. These tools have been in use for 23 years. Now, we are launching Neo, a unified platform that combines all these tools in one package.
You can already download version 1.0 from our website. Version 2.0, called Nav, will be available soon.
Neo is not a standalone product. It is an essential tool for working efficiently with our Intercom Matrix Systems.
We are also showcasing Odin, our intercom matrix. It now integrates seamlessly into local networks with glitch-free operation. It supports fully redundant primary and secondary network configurations.
We are also presenting an improved CSCom radio interface. It connects Motorola digital radios to our Odin matrix via OMNEO and Dante.
For hardware, we have a fully integrated digital beltpack. We are also showcasing the Romeo wireless DECT-based system.
Our biggest reveal won’t be at ISE but at NAB in Las Vegas. There, we will introduce major new developments. I can’t share details yet, but it will focus on extreme connectivity and flexibility. Make sure to come to NAB—you won’t want to miss it!
– What trends do you see in the industry? How do you see AI impacting the industry?
AI is exciting, but also a little intimidating. It is already changing broadcasting, and its influence will grow.
AI can generate content in multiple languages, create high-quality text, and produce videos. However, human communication remains key. I don’t see AI as a major threat to our segment.
AI will impact production, studio operations, visual effects, and sports broadcasting. Companies must use it wisely. It is both a tool and a challenge. Those who adapt will benefit.
As a company, we are investing heavily in AI. It is an important part of our future.
