Brompton Technology Equips NIPA’s KoVAC XR STAGE with Advanced LED Processing

The National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) has recently upgraded its KoVAC XR STAGE by collaborating with ARK Ventures Inc., a leading South Korean XR company.

This upgrade has transformed the stage into a sophisticated hybrid facility, integrating state-of-the-art technology. The new features include LED ceiling enhancements and effects side walls, all powered by Brompton Technology LED processing.

Revolutionizing Studio Capabilities
Located in the VR AR Complex (KoVAC) in Mapo-gu, Seoul, the studio now includes an impressive 16m by 6m ROE Visual BP2V2 LED wall and a 16.6m by 6.7m ROE Visual BM4V2 LED floor. Additionally, it boasts two sets of 3.6m by 3.6m LED ceilings and a 2.4m by 3.6m side effects wall, constructed with ROE Visual CB5L MKII panels. The entire setup is powered by four 4K Tessera SX40 LED processors and nine Tessera 10G data distribution units. The system also incorporates the disguise vx 4+ media server and nDisplay by Unreal Engine.

Leveraging Advanced Software Features
The NIPA team utilizes advanced Tessera software features like Frame Remapping, ShutterSync®, and Studio Mode, as well as new capabilities such as Extended Bit Depth, Stacking, and PureTone, to enhance their projects.
